Boerhaave complex - Leiden - anodized window frames

Client

Boerhaave Leiden University Residential Area Foundation

Location

Leiden, The Netherlands

Status

Completed (2019)

Characteristic

Three residential complexes have been completed on Boerhaavelaan to accommodate PhD students.

The project

The new 'Boerhaave complex' is located in Leiden. The existing apartment building has been renovated. Construction, led by Van Wijnen Haarlemmermeer, started in 2015. The first 40 homes were opened in 2019. Ultimately, three buildings will be built, comprising 209 homes in total. The design takes into account the appearance of the building in contrast to its surroundings. The complex is in keeping with the original homes and is in keeping with the style of the neighbourhood.

Our contribution

NESTcoat’s damage repair service comes in handy for new construction projects such as the Boerhaave complex. The aluminum windows of the complex were damaged in two different places. The damage was located inside a home. The interior is therefore well taped by us. The damage has been repaired in the color C32 (light bronze). We repair damaged areas as accurately as possible in the desired color.

About us

We are NESTcoat, specialists in surface treatment of metals. We work on the aesthetic and functional protection of metal products at production plants, but we also provide our service on location of the customer. This means we often visit building sights, infrastructural projects, living accommodations and many other places.

We operate from within the Netherlands and often provide our service in neighboring countries.
