This bicycle bridge is intended to provide a connection from a district in Cuijk to the bicycle path in the direction of Nijmegen. The bridge is part of the large fast cycling route MaasWaalpad. Due to this new bicycle bridge over the Maas, the distance between Cuijk and Nijmegen is now 2.5 kilometers shorter for cyclists.
This bicycle bridge was developed for the municipality of the North Brabant village of Cuijk, the Netherlands. It is the last bridge in the Heeswijkse Kampen district and part of the major new cycle route MaasWaalpad.
This bridge provides a connection between the wetland district and the cycle path in the direction of Nijmegen. The bicycle bridge fits completely into the natural environment and is in line with the architecture of the surrounding homes.
Damage was caused to the railings of this bicycle bridge. This has been professionally repaired by NESTcoat. All metal in public spaces must be well protected.
