Preventing corrosion

Steel is a strong, sustainable raw material that is widely used in the energy sector. It is relatively inexpensive and with proper maintenance it can last for years. This correct maintenance is very important, because in this market many materials are in a corrosive environment where the presence of acids, salts, moisture and also abrasive substances affect the preservation. A good example of this are solar panels next to roads or windmills on or near the sea, which causes the metal to corrode. But also in many power plants, corrosion is one of the most important factors that leads to processes coming to an unnecessarily standstill. In this case, periodic maintenance and reinforcement of weak coatings is essential to not affect the metal product.

Attention to detail

The energy market is constantly changing and so are we. Our employees can travel anywhere for damage repair or periodic maintenance of the metal preservation. The product is then completely cleaned and checked for traces of corrosion and damage. To ensure a long life of the coated object, we pay extra attention to important details such as sharp edges that can weaken the metal preservation, corners and holes that are susceptible to corrosion due to moisture and dirt.

A conservation that matches the environment

We can contribute to both short and long-term projects. For example, we repair transport or assembly damage by the conservation. Corrosion can be removed on site, after which our employees apply a suitable coating to protect the metal product for a long time. We can also be called in as a permanent partner for periodic cleaning.
