Apartment building Rotterdam - balcony

The project

Rotterdam is the second largest city in the Netherlands. The city on the Nieuwe Maas was largely destroyed during a bombing raid in World War II. As a result, Rotterdam is now known for architecture, new construction and skyscrapers. For example, the apartment complexes were also built after the war in Nieuw Crooswijk, a new district of Rotterdam. The construction had to ensure that new residents were attracted to a modern and green environment. The homes in this district were designed by various architects, creating a characteristic streetscape.

Our contribution

We were called in to repair damaged coating of a balcony of one of the apartments. The balcony had previously been treated / touched up by another company, but had to be aesthetically pleasing as well as functional at this point. The coating of this balcony was provided with a metallic coating. While restoring, our goal was to minimize color and gloss difference. The functional and aesthetic protection of the coating contribute to a beautiful appearance of the balcony. This increases the living enjoyment of the residents.
