Apartment complex "de Residentie" comprises a total of 19 apartments and is located on the corner of Burgemeester Knappertlaan in Schiedam, nearby the Nieuwe Haven. There are various facilities in the vicinity such as a supermarket, restaurants, schools and public transport. In 2006, this complex was completed by Dura Vermeer. The building was designed by architect Harry Nefkens. Among other things, he provided all apartments with their own parking space.
We were involved in this project to refurbish several balconies. Detachment of the coating had occurred in several places. We repaired this damage and provided the balconies with an aesthetic and protective coating. The coating not only ensures that the balcony looks good, but also that the metal under the coating is protected against external influences. This contributes to better protection against corrosion.
