The Noorderbinnensingel is a long street in Groningen located opposite the Noorderplantsoen. This is one of the largest parks in the downtown area. The water tower that was built in 1907 to provide the city with clean drinking water is also located here. There are many houses from the last century in this street. So are these apartments with balconies.
The columns on these apartments have been newly placed here to provide more support for the balconies. We were called in because there was various damage to the powder coating of approximately 100 columns on two residential blocks. The columns were provided with a duplex system (hot-dip galvanized steel + powder coating) for the most optimal protection against corrosion. We repaired, among other things, scratches to the powder coating in RAL 7016. This was done in accordance with NEN EN 15773. The constructions are well protected against all weather influences by the repair work.
