About 150 employees had to work in the adjacent TNO building for the renovation and expansion of the NATO building. The space was not large enough for all employees.
The NATO complex in The Hague was expanded and renovated in 2019. The Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) department is located in this building. The NCIA is NATO's IT organization. The NCIA has 30 offices around the world with a total of 3000+ employees. The branch in The Hague is one of the three main locations. It has approximately 740 workplaces.
Degassing was present in the coating on the pillars. With our repair service, we have contributed on site to a well-closed conservation in the right color. The aesthetic finish of the pillars contributes to an exterior that suits an office of a large organization such as NATO. The closed preservation also ensures that the pillars are well protected against environmental influences. For objects that are always outside, protection is essential to prevent problems such as corrosion.
We are NESTcoat, specialists in surface treatment of metals. This means we often visit building sights, infrastructural projects, living accommodations and many other places.
