Norwegian Encore is the 17th ship of the Norwegian Cruise Line and, like Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Joy and Norwegian Escape, belongs to the Breakaway Plus class. The cruise ship features a colorful exterior design by Spanish artist Eduardo Arranz-Bravo. This ship can accommodate 4200 passengers and there are plenty of recreational opportunities, including a 350 meter long go-kart track. The ‘Norwegian Encore Speedway’ occupies two floors of the top deck, providing space for 10 racers. A part of the go-kart track even hangs a few meters over the edge of the ship. So it’s only good that we made sure every part of the metal construction is in top shape.
To make the go-kart track seaworthy, NESTcoat has sealed the connection surfaces and seams of the steel construction by applying a suitable wet coating for offshore purposes. This ensures that the steel construction is resistant to the influences of this environment, such as salts and moisture. Repairing the damage contributes to the life of the structure and safety.
We are NESTcoat, specialists in surface treatment of metals. We work on the aesthetic and functional protection of metal products at production plants, but we also provide our service on location of the customer. This means we often visit building sights, infrastructural projects, living accommodations and many other places.
We operate from within the Netherlands and often provide our service in neighboring countries.
