The new Central station of Delft opened in 2015. Since then, the old station building has been extensively renovated. In 2018 it was transformed from an old station building into a catering hotspot. Now the Italian restaurant Pavarotti is located there. Visitors can come here for a fresh pasta, pizza and other Italian delicacies or have a drink in the wine bar. Architectural firm Braaksma & Roos was responsible for the renovation. The old station building is a national monument that was opened in 1885. The original designer was the Dutch architect Christiaan Posthumus Meyjes Sr.
NESTcoat was called in to provide the exterior construction with a metallic structure powder coating. Afterwards, these pillars suffered construction damage and our damage repair service was applied to repair this damage on site. A restaurant likes to radiate quality. We contribute to this goal by bringing the coating on the construction back into good condition. By repairing damaged areas, they are also better protected against harmful external influences. This reduces the chance of corrosion and keeps the whole in good condition for longer.
We are NESTcoat, specialists in surface treatment of metals. We work on the aesthetic and functional protection of metal products at production plants, but we also provide our service on location of the customer. This means we often visit building sights, infrastructural projects, living accommodations and many other places.
