Schiphol Airport - Amsterdam - banisters

The project

Panalpina was a logistics service provider active in the field of air and sea freight. Worldwide they had about 15,000 employees. The Dutch branch focused on flower transport. This branch at Schiphol Airport was purchased by Panalpina in 2017. Two years later in 2019, Panalpina was taken over by the Danish DSV. The acquisition was worth 4.96 billion euros. The acquisition has made DSV the fourth largest forwarding company in the world. They are active on all continents. DSV has since sold the Dutch branch.

Our contribution

DSV had two branches in the Netherlands. One at Eindhoven Airport and one at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, where we were called in. We carried out work on the coating of the stairs and railings, which had been damaged.

About us

We are NESTcoat, specialists in surface treatment of metals. We work on the aesthetic and functional protection of metal products at production plants, but we also provide our service on location of the customer. This means we often visit building sights, infrastructural projects, living accommodations and many other places.

We operate from within the Netherlands and often provide our service in neighboring countries.
